The first look of Vijay-starrer Kaththi that was released as a birthday treat for fans on June 22 has garnered massive response from fans. The official look and the digital poster that hit the net on the star’s 40th birthday has crossed 50,000 likes on the actor’s official FB page. The poster that had exclusive music received more than three lakh hits on YouTube and fans have heaped praises on music composer Anirudh for a fabulous BGM. On the other hand, the trailer of Dhanush-starrer Velai Illa Pattadhaari (VIP) that released recently has crossed the one million mark. Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd, is the producer of the film and holds the audio rights of the film that has music composed by Anirudh. The songs and trailer were introduced on various platforms in collaboration with Divo, a Chennai-based YouTube multi channel network and digital distributor.
While the songs have garnered positive reviews and been declared a hit, the 1 million mark is a huge milestone for the YouTube channel under the aegis of Wunderbar. The channel so far has 5 million views and 15,000 subscribers, making it the second highest subscribed YouTube channel among Tamil Film production houses, only after AVM Studios. The movie is expected to release in mid July.
