Karthi-starrer Komban is all set to release on April 2. The film is now set to take on a host of other films like Nannbenda, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin at the box office this summer. Earlier, the film was slated for release on Pongal, but the date was postponed.
Komban will see Lakshmi Menon opposite the Madras actor. Komban directed by M Muthiah also stars Kovai Sarala, Super Subbarayan and Karunas in supporting roles.
Earlier soon after signing the film, Lakshmi had said that she was excited about her role as it was one of those rare movies that gave the heroine a significant part. The film has music scored by GV Prakash. Nannbenda, a romantic comedy flick stars Nayanthara and Santhanam. Udhayanidhi’s next opposite Amy Jackson helmed by Thirukumaran has already gone on floors.
