Actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi are collaborating for the first time in the upcoming yet-untitled Tamil project, to be directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, said a source.
"Samantha has been signed on as the female lead. This is the first time she has been paired with Vijay Sethupathi. The shooting of the project will commence next week, and the makers are currently finalising the rest of the cast," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The source also revealed that popular Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has been roped in to play the second male lead.
Veteran lensman P.C. Sreeram will crank the camera for the project, which will also feature a second heroine.
"The makers are still on the lookout for an actress who would fit the bill," he said.
