Anjali, whose recent release was Taramani in Tamil, is making her Mollywood debut with debutant filmmaker Vinu Joseph’s upcoming venture, Rosapoo.

The film has Biju Menon in the lead. According to sources, she is playing a half-Tamil, half-Kannadiga character.

“Her role will be as important as the hero’s,” a source says. Interestingly, the film will supposedly have as many as 143 characters, and will feature actors like Neeraj Madhav, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, and Shilpa Manjunath in important roles.

The source adds, “It took a lot of time for the team to zero in on the respective actors after several rounds of auditions. We have been shooting for the film from August 23 in Ernakulam.”

Anjali also has Balloon and Peranbu in the pipeline.
