With Kodiveeran releasing last week, Sasikumar will get busy with back-to-back projects. The Tharai Thappattai star is currently working on Asuravadham for which the shooting is expected to be wrapped up by February.

Following that, the director-turned-actor will collaborate with newbie Pandian for a film that’ll be produced by Inder Kumar of Kuttram 23 and Thadam fame under his Redhan—The Cinema People banner.

Speaking about the project, Inder says, “Pandian worked as the co-director of M Muthiah right from his Kutti Puli days. Unlike the usual Sasikumar sir films, this won’t be set in a village. He wanted to do something different, but I can’t reveal that now.”

The film’s shooting will begin from the last week of February, immediately after the completion of Sasikumar’s next film. Talking about the cast and crew, Inder says, “We’re planning to rope in a top heroine as the female lead. We’re in talks with a couple of them.

As for the technicians, cinematographer Gopinath, who’s currently a part of Thadam, will handle the camera for this film. The plan is to wrap up the film in 40 days.” Incidentally Inder, who debuted as villain with Kodiveeran, will again be playing the villain in this film.
