Aruvi, which has been enjoying a stellar run and getting rave reviews from all quarters, has got its newest fan in the form of Superstar Rajinikanth.
The actor, who took time out to watch the film, called debutant director Arun Prabu Purushothaman and spoke to him for more than 15 minutes. Rajini praised the film and said it made him laugh, cry and think about many things his life.
The actor also wished the young director a very bright future in the industry and added that this film would be much talked about for years to come.
Aruvi, featuring Aditi Balan in the titular role, tells the story of a gentle girl, who finds it difficult to fit into a ruthless society, and decides to rebel against the forces that comprise it.
