India-Pakistan battles have made interesting subjects for films, and Malayalam filmmaker Major Ravi and Mohanlal have embraced the war film genre wholeheartedly. The duo is joining hands for the movie 1971 Beyond Borders, in which Mohanlal will play a double role. A prequel to Keerthi Chakra, the movie will be released in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
