Savitha Radhakrishnan, who dubbed for Jyothika in most of her films including Kushi (2000), Thenali (2000) and Dhool (2003) among many will not do so for Magalir Mattum we hear, Jyothika has dubbed for herself.
A source said, “Jyothika is fluent in Tamil and realised the importance of dubbing her own voice as it would help the performance much more. Bramma was also encouraging.”
Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, Magalir Mattum has the actor playing the role of a documentary filmmaker, who takes up a cause and fights for it.
The film also has three other powerful women characters, played by Urvasi, Bhanupriya and Saranya Ponvannan, besides Nasser and Livingston. It has music by Ghibran and Manikandan is the cameraman.
