Nikhila Vimal, who impressed us in the Sasikumar-starrer Kidaari (2016), has been finalised to play the leading lady opposite Sibiraj in an untitled flick directed by Vinod, former assistant to Durai. “It is an action thriller. Sibiraj is busy with Sathya and another film with Thegidi director. Once he completes his existing commitments, we’ll start the shooting. This film will see the lead pair playing the role of animators. They work in the same organisation that provides graphic design work,” informs Vinod.

“We are looking to shoot in and around Kashmir. Our film will remind audiences of Mani Ratnam’s Roja (1992).” Produced by Boss Movies, the film has Ram Jeevan on music. Dhilip Subbarayan is choreographing the stunt sequences. On the other hand, Nikhila has bagged the Telugu remake of the Malayalam comedy thriller Oru Vadakkan Selfie (2015).
