T Rajhendherr turned emotional during the press meet of the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Kavan. He said the actor was one of the reasons he accepted the film.
He said, “Even after delivering back-to-back hits, Vijay Sethupathi is really humble. He once asked me for my autograph. It suprised me. It was a pleasure to work with him.”
The veteran director added that KV Anand is one of the finest cinematographers in the country. “I have worked on many films, but Kavan will be close to my heart because of its cast and crew. Everyone treated me with so much respect and I can never forget the experience. It felt like being home,” he said. Hiphop Tamizha Adhi has composed five songs for Kavan.
He was excited about a song titled Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, one of the compositions of Bharatiyar. “I have always wanted to work on his verses and set them to my tunes,” he said.
