Dhanush, who’s currently bankrolling Ranjith’s next with Rajinikanth, made a guest appearance in the 2013 Mammootty-Dileep starrer Proprietors: Kammath & Kammath. Later, he announced his first production venture in Malayalam with Tovino Thomas, to be directed by debutant Arun Dominic. There was much buzz then that he would be playing a cameo in the film.
The latest word is that Wunderbar Films has obtained the rights of Arun George K David’s Ladoo. “Ladoo will be produced by Mini Studio, and presented by Dhanush,” wrote Arun on Facebook. Shabareesh Varma, Balu Varghese, and Saju Navodaya will be starring in the film. Rajesh Murugesan, the music director of Premam, will compose the music.Dhanush’s directorial debut, Pa Paandi, has just completed 25 days in theatres despite competition from Baahubali 2.
