Here's an upbeat song describing what happened on November 8th, 2016 and the consequences of demonetisation.

While the song was sung by actor Silambarasan, the lyrics were penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu and the tune was set by Balamurali Balu, the music director of 'Hara Hara Mahadevaki'. The song is for the actor's upcoming film 'Thatrom Thookrom' for which shooting is underway.

A music video for the song was released on Wednesday evening by the YouTube channel 'Trend Music'. The video shows clippings of people standing in queues outside ATM kiosks. The video also shows screenshots of Tweets by Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan appreciating the demonetisation, with the lyrics saying "we have cooperated as citizens and put in a lot of trust".

This is not the first time STR has created a movement through his 'anthems'. The actor has also sung 'Love Anthem for World Peace' in 2011 and the 'Vote Song' in 2016.
