Studio Green has bagged the Tamil Nadu rights of Anushka-starrer Bhaagamathie. Director G Ashok, who confirmed this to us, added: “I am quite confident about the film, and work is underway on the dubbing.
It will be an Anushka film.”
Touted to be a thriller, the film is said to revolve around Anushka’s character, for which she has reportedly shed around 20 kgs. DOP Madhie of The Ghazi Attack fame is the cinematographer for Bhaagamathie, while Thaman is the music director.
Rumour has it that Studio Green paid `15 crore for the rights to this film, which also features Unni Mukundan, Jayaram, Aadhi Pinisetty and Asha Sarath in important roles.
