G V Prakash starts shooting for AR Rahman musical Sarvam Thaalamayam

Music director-turned-actor G V Prakash Kumar took to Twitter to announce that shooting for his next film, Sarvam Thaalamayam, has started.

Music director-turned-actor G V Prakash Kumar has been busy with his line up of movies. On Wednesday he took to Twitter to announce that shooting for his next film has started.

The movie also marks popular director Rajiv Menon's comeback direction. Menon had previously directed superhits like 'Kandukondein Kandukondein' and 'Minsara Kanavu'.

Menon is also known for his cinematography for Mani Ratnam films like 'Guru' and 'Kadal'.

In his tweet, Prakash said: "shoot starts today ... need ur blessings and wishes ... the Mozart of India my guru @arrahman scores Music .... a @DirRajivMenon film ... will be a beautiful musical film ... need ur love and wishes." 

According to various media reports, AR Rahman has already completed composing nine songs for the film.

Rajiv Menon had recently posted a photo on Twittter. He captioned the image, "On set shooting with good old friend arrahman after 17 years." The duo had collaborated for a 7 UP commercial.

GV Prakash, who is a composer himself, will be seen playing a drummer in the film and by the looks of the poster, it is going to be a super fun film to watch out for.
