The father-son duo, Karthik and Gautham Karthik, will be sharing screen space for the first time in Thiru’s upcoming film, produced by Dhananjayan. According to sources, Gautham plays a boxer and Karthik plays a government employee.
Dhananjayan says, “Though Karthik was asked by many filmmakers to act with his son Gautham, he was not keen as he was waiting for the right story. When Director Thiru narrated the story, which has strong roles for both father and son, he was floored and agreed to be a part of the film immediately.”
We also hear that this film will have an ensemble cast, including two popular heroines. The title of the film will be announced shortly. The team has commenced pre-production work and is expected to complete this film in one schedule starting from November. Meanwhile, Gautham has spent three weeks in Bangalore to train for the role.
