The shoot of Saamy Square has resumed in Tirunelveli after a brief hiatus. It was halted on account of a personal emergency for Vikram.

Producer Shibu Thameens unveiled the film’s title logo on Thursday and shared the news of resumption on Twitter.

Sources say Vikram, who was occupied with Dhruva Natchathiram, has also joined the sets, and is expected to play a dual role in the film.

Touted to be a commercial revenge entertainer, the film has Keerthy Suresh, besides Bobby Simha, John Vijay, Prabhu and OAK Sundar in important roles, and music by Devi Sri Prasad.
