According to sources, the Pawan Kalyan starrer 'Komaram Puli' directed by SJ Suryah, which was all set to hit the theatres in the second week of August, seems to have run into some serious trouble due to its name.

Tribals in several parts of Telangana have reportedly decided to stage a protest against the film title as Komaram refers to a tribal clan and thus is derogatory to their culture.

The leaders also expressed concern about the inaccurate depiction of Komaram Bheem , a legendary figure who was killed fighting the Nizam forces.
