Actor Vinay Rai, a popular face down south, has been rocking Tamil screens in the recent past. But little did anyone know that the actor was also having fun shooting for an upcoming Telugu film. Media cameras spotted Vinay Rai having fun on the sets of ‘Veela’. And when quizzed about his experience of working in Tollywood, he was quick to reply that he was having a whale of a time shooting with so many young people around him. At 31 years of age, Vinay Rai feels that he is an old man but is thoroughly enjoying his new life!
After a successful stint on the ramp, Vinay Rai’s debut film ‘Unnale Unnale’ was a huge success at the box office. The actor played a lover boy in his debut Tamil venture and therefore several offers, all in the romantic genre, started pouring in for Vinay Rai. However, the actor is not prepared to be typecast as a romantic hero in the films that he signs. Therefore, he makes it a point to be a part of different cinema, be it in Kollywood or Tollywood. His third film as an actor ‘Jayam Kondaan’ helped Vinay Rai to break free from the loverboy image that he is usually associated with.
With ‘Veela’ round the corner, we hope Vinay Rai will be able to maximize on his experimentation efforts.
