Uday Kiran’s film resurfaces

The long-pending 'Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta', with Swetha Basu Prasad slowly makes it way to the theatres.

HYDERABAD: Tollywood actor Uday Kiran, whose previous film was released in 2008, is finally having another film hitting the theatres.

After ‘Ekaloveyudu’, Uday started working on ‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’ but its release remained pending for some time.

Uday, who started his career with Telugu film ‘Chitram’ in 2000, made his Kollywood debut with director K Balachandar’s ‘Poi’ in 2006. He also got a hit film after a long time in the form of Tamil film ‘Penn Singam’, which was released in 2010. He has given a hit film after a long time and is now getting a new release.

In ‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’, Uday is paired opposite actress Swetha Basu Prasad. Subha Selvam has directed the movie. Right now, the producer’s priority is to get the film released without any further delay.

In a decade-long career, Uday had starred in only 3 films in Tamil. The rest were in Telugu.
