There is no change in the release date of Junior NTR-starrer Ramayya Vasthavayya, says its producer Dil Raju. It will hit screens on October 10 as planned.
There were rumours that the film’s release had been stalled following the Union cabinet’s nod for a separate Telangana state carved out of Andhra Pradesh.
“There will be absolutely no change in the release of the film. As scheduled earlier, the film will release worldwide on October 10. I know it’s going to be a tough situation in the State, but we are ready to stand up and face the consequences,” believes Raju. Directed by Hari Shankar, the film stars Junior NTR, Samantha and Shruti Haasan in key roles. Music composer S Thaman has composed the music for the film. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on September 27 to mark the 12th anniversary of NTR’s first blockbuster Student No 1. But, the release date was rescheduled.
