Srimanthudu Effortlessly Breaks 100 Crore Barrier

After Baahubali, it is now the turn of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu to enter the 100 crore club.  Eros International, which produced the film in collaboration with Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan of Mythri Movie Makers, announced that Srimanthudu has grossed a whopping `101.25 crore worldwide at the box office in its first week.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Srimanthudu released across 2000 screens worldwide and has opened to packed theatres. “It’s a proud moment to associate with Mahesh Babu once again and Mythri Movie Makers for this family entertainer that has taken audiences by storm and reports across regions continue to be extremely encouraging. The Telugu industry holds great opportunity for us and we look forward to leverage its attractive film content to strengthen our operations in south,” said Sunil Lulla, managing director, Eros International.

Srimanthudu, also dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam, also features Shruti Hassan and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
