American Touch to Kshanam

The makers of upcoming Telugu thriller Kshanam have roped in American cinematographer Shaneil Deo for the film.

Providing an international touch to Tollywood, the makers of upcoming Telugu thriller Kshanam have roped in American cinematographer Shaneil Deo for the film.

Deo, who received international acclaim for his work on short film 'Layla' and was also nominated for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Among those he impressed are PVP Cinemas, the producers of Kshanam. The young cinematographer has done the camera work for Kshanam and sources reveal that his work has already generated a lot of buzz from within the industry.

"PVP Cinemas had approached Shaneil Deo at an international film festival last year and offered to cast him as the cameraman for Kshanam. Deo was riveted by the twists and turns in the film, which is why he chose to come to India and do this film," said a source from the film's unit.

Apart from Kshanam, Deo is also in talks to work on a French production.

Directed by Ravikanth Perepu, Kshanam features Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma and Anasuya Bharadwaj in lead roles. The film is slated to release on February 26.
