Neha Shetty, who made her debut with Mungaru Male 2 directed by Shashank, did not hurry with her second outing. She took her time and seems to have made the right decision.
Neha is all set to be launched in Telugu by none other than Tollywood’s well-known director Puri Jagannadh, in a movie which also happens to be the debut of Puri's son Akash. While details are yet to be shared by the director, which should be done soon, Neha is upbeat about her Tollywood debut. She says the shoot will begin October first week.
"I took time after my first film and heard plenty of scripts from Kannada, Tamil and Telugu directors. But I didn't feel that I could give my 100 per cent to those and people would expect more after watching me in Mungaru Male 2,” she says. “I kept looking for something different and chanced upon this. I also consider it a blessing to be part of a Puri Jagannadh's directorial, in which I will be working opposite his son Akash."
She says her favourite work of Puri is Pokiri.The filmmakers have not decided on the title but we know that they planning to shoot it in north India.
