As his film with director Lingusamy taking longer than expected to start rolling, actor Allu Arjun has decided to move on to another project after Naa Peru Surya. A source in the know says, Arjun is keen to work with a young director in his next. Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy of UV Creations, who are currently bankrolling Prabhas-starrer Saaho have come forward to shepherd the film.

“Director VI Anand of Ekkadaki Pothav Chinnavada fame and Prashanth, a former protege of director Sujeeth have narrated a script each to Allu Arjun recently. The actor was pleased with both the stories and suggested a few changes.

If everything falls in place, he will join hands with either of the directors after wrapping up his current project and an exact update will be out in a few days once the actor returns from Manali,” informed a source.  As for Naa Peru Surya, the film which marks the debut of writer Vakkantham Vamsi, will begin its new schedule on November 5. Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead in the film, slated for release on April 27.
