Prabhas, who recently joined Instagram, took to the platform to share a note thanking other directors and producers for postponing the release of their films in order to avert clashing with his Saaho.

The note read, “A big thank you to all actors, producers, and directors of the films who have had to reschedule their release dates to accommodate Saaho. Team Saaho is grateful to all of you, and we wish you the very best for your releases.”

The makers of Saaho, UV Creations, too took to Twitter and said, “Extremely thankful for producers across all the languages for clearing the way for Saaho and helping for a bigger release. The action begins in cinemas from August 30.”

Kaappaan, starring Suriya and Mohanlal, which was scheduled to hit the screen alongside Saaho, has now been pushed to September 20. While director Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor, will now be released on September 6, the Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy film, Made in China, too has moved to a new date that’s not yet been finalised.

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho, also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Arun Vijay, has been shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and will hit the screens on August 30.
