Saurabh Chaudhary, today became only the fifth Indian shooter to claim a gold in the Asian Games history, beating a field of multiple world and Olympic champions in the 10m air pistol finals.

Chaudhary won the gold medal at the ISSF Junior World Cup while setting a new Junior World Record. At the Asian Games, Saurabh scored 50.6 and 50.8 in the Stage One in the 10m air pistol final; In Stage 2, he achieved a total of 240.7 points including 18.6, 20.6, 20.2, 19.9 and 20.6 and set a new record for Asian Games.
