After debuting as a supporting actor in an indie feature film Myoho, Shashank Arora bagged a lead role in Yash Raj’s Titli and was noticed. The actor is now part of a major film, Rock On!! 2. The actor says he was under pressure to live up to the reputation earned by the original film.
Shraddha Kapoor and he are the new additions to the cast who will be seen collaborating with the original band members of Rock On!! and Shashank says it was very demanding to be part of a sequel to a popular film.
“Every part of my role is challenging especially because the original Rock On!! has already earned so much love from people.”
But the newcomer managed to find his place among the cast which has already formed a bond.
“Everyone welcomed me like family. I am blessed to be a part of this project,” says Shashank. “As an actor, you are under a lot pressure but you go in there and you have a lot of fun. It’s been a beautiful experience though it has been a tough film to make for me. Hopefully people think that it lived up to expectations. I just did my job and I hope I did it well enough.”
