The Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Pink has been invited for a special screening at the UN headquarters in New York. The actor, who plays a lawyer in the film, took to Twitter to make the announcement. He wrote, “Pink invited for a special screening at the UN head quarters in New York by Assistant Secretary General... honoured (sic).” Raking in over `65 crore at the box office, the courtroom drama had garnered appreciation for the way it was scripted. We hear that the invitation was a part of the ‘16 Voices’ campaign, an event to raise awareness against violence against women, organised by the United Nations Population Fund, which will go on till December 10.
