HYDERABAD: The Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party leaders welcomed the local court’s judgment acquitting ten persons in the bomb blast case. While the police are considering to challenge the local court’s order in upper court, the MBT and MIM party leaders demanded the state government consider taking action against police officers for sending innocent persons to jail by registering false cases against them.

MIM party MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that the conspiracy in suicide bomb attack on Task Force case was not proven but the innocent persons have remained in jail jailed for over a decade now. “The government deliberately implicated false cases against a section of people in getting political gain. Innocent persons were sent to jail in false cases few years ago and the TRS government is indulging in killing of persons in the name of fake encounters in the state,” said MBT party leader Amjed Ullah Khan.
