HYDERABAD: GITAM Hyderabad Business School, a constituent of GITAM University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EGADE Business School, Mexico City, Mexico, for Academic Cooperation and Faculty Joint Research.Sharing the vision for GITAM HBS, Dr Lakshman Kumar, dean and director, said the B-School aspires to be part of top 20 B-Schools in the country within a decade. The MoU with EGADE Business School is but a step toward absorbing the best practices in research and teaching from the best B-Schools in the world.
As a preamble to the MoU, Dr Rajagopal, Professor and representative of EGADE Business School, conducted a three-day seminar for the MBA students of GITAM HBS on Managing Innovation and Marketing Strategy and a day-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for the faculty on Enhancing Teaching Effectiveness during 27-30 November 2017.
The certificates for participants of these programmes have been issued jointly by Egade Business School and GITAM HBS. The MoU ensures that the faculty and the students of GITAM HBS are exposed to and obtain the benefits of international standards in management education and research, as well as obtaining certifications.
