Congmen Hail Rahul on Lokpal Bill

The members of the Congress apparently consider being in the good books of the Gandhis an inevitable factor in their career’s ascent. On Thursday, leaders thronged outside Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s residence to congratulate and thank him for the passage the Lokpal Bill. On Thursday afternoon, Human Resource Development Minister Pallam Raju drove to Rahul’s residence for a one-on-one talk with him and to congratulate him for the passage of the Bill. Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit too met Rahul.

Expressing his happiness over the passing of the Lokpal Bill, BJPleader HarshVardhan has called upon the President and the Prime Minister to announce observence of December 18 as ‘Lokpal Diwas’ so that the people may remember this long awaited day as Public Justice Day.
