Modi's Sweeping Image is Morphed: RTI

TNIE online desk

Remember the picture which was frequently shared on social media which cited Modi’s humble background? Many questioned the authenticity where eventually an Ahmedabad-based RTI activist has revealed that the image is photoshopped.

The widely-circulated image was even captioned, “Rare photo of Narendra Modi…the man has sweep the floors in (1988 when he was an ordinary RSS worker) the past and today he is most powerful person in India.”

The RTI replied, “…It is stated while the information sought does not form part of records, it may be noted that the said photograph is morphed and the person in the photo is not Mr Narendra Modi.”

The black and white image showed Modi smiling while holding a broom turns out to be morphed and the real person in the image had no resemblance to the Prime Minister.
