Jammu and Kashmir: Headless body of youth recovered from Jhelum River

The body of Muzaffar Ahmad Parray alias Muzaffar Nata was recovered from the river and later identified by a family in Hajin area of Bandipora as that of one of its members.

SRINAGAR: A headless body of a youth was recovered from from the Jhelum River in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday and later recognised by a local family, police said.

The body of Muzaffar Ahmad Parray alias Muzaffar Nata was recovered from the river and later identified by a family in Hajin area of Bandipora as that of one of its members.

A spontaneous protest shutdown was observed in Hajin area after the identification of the body.

Police sources said the slain person was an over ground worker of the LeT outfit.
