DEORIA: A woman died today after she was allegedly set on fire by her in-laws over dowry in Imalia village in the Bhatni area here, police said.

Babli (25) suffered burn injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where she died, they said.

The victim's father alleged that his daughter was "burnt alive" over dowry by the in-laws.

We are probing the matter, police said, adding that no arrests have so far been made.
