Cop, Dera Sacha Sauda Chartered Accountant arrested for involvement in Panchkula violence conspiracy

The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the Haryana Police arrested Dera's Chartered Accountant and CEO of MSG Company C.P. Arora over alleged involvement in Panchkula violence conspiracy.

CHANDIGARH: One police personnel has been arrested for plotting Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's escape from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Panchkula on September 25.

The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the Haryana Police arrested Dera's Chartered Accountant and CEO of MSG Company C.P. Arora over alleged involvement in Panchkula violence conspiracy.

On October 13, the Panchkula court sent jailed Dera chief’s 'adopted' daughter Honeypreet Insan and her accomplice Sukhdeep Kaur to judicial custody till October 23.

On October 10, the court had sent Honeypreet and her aide Sukhdeep Kaur to a three-day police remand.

During the investigation, Haryana police claimed that Honeypreet was not cooperating in the interrogation.

Panchkula Police Commissioner A S Chawla has said that Honeypreet is misleading the police.

Haryana Police had arrested Honeypreet from Zirakpur on October 3, around 25 kilometers from Chandigarh.

She has been charged with sedition by Haryana government for allegedly inciting violence after a Panchkula Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court held Dera chief Gurmeet Singh guilty in a rape case.
