Army jawan found dead in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri

JAMMU: An Army jawan was found dead today in a stream near his home in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said.

Sepoy Neeraj Kumar, 38, posted in Uttar Pradesh, had come to his home on leave and was found dead in a stream near his house at village Salari pathal in Sunderbani area, the police official said.

 He said an inquest proceeding has been launched to ascertain the cause of jawan's death.

The jawan's body was handed over to his family for last rites after legal formalities, he said.
