Meanwhile, the buzz is that Rachita Ram was earlier considered to star opposite Manoranjan, but the makers are now considering Mishti Chakraborty for the role. Mishti, after making her debut in a Bengali film, later moved to Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood. If true, the yet-to-be-titled project made under Rockline Production would be her debut in Sandalwood.

Though an official announcement is yet to be made, the makers have confirmed that and she will be part of the next schedule. Speaking about the thought of bringing in Mishti, our source says, “The makers felt that a fresh face was needed to be paired opposite Manoranjan which was was the only reason they brought in Mishti. Director Nandakumar knows the tremendous potential of Rachita and felt that the character may not be right for her. He has plans to take her in one of his future projects.”

Coming to Mishti, the young actress started with a Bengali film Parichoi after which Bollywood director, Subhash Ghai cast her in Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. The film was an average hit, but paved way for Mishti to make a foray into Telugu industry with Chinnadana Nee Kosam, followed by Columbus. Her second Hindi film was Great Grand Masti. The actress is also making her mark in Tamil with Semma Bodhe Aahadha.
