The comedy-drama Queen that brought Kangana Ranaut to the limelight is all set to be remade in four South Indian languages. Few names have been doing the rounds about who will helm the remake in Kannada, now one seems to have been finalised.

According to our source, the producers, who are based out of London, have decided to pick Ramesh Aravind.

The actor-director will direct the Kannada and Telugu versions.
While Parul Yadav will be playing the Queen’s role in  Sandalwood, Tamannaah will be seen playing the lead in the Telugu remake of Queen.

Ramesh Aravind, who has helmed a few Kannada films such as Rama Shama Bhama, Sathyavan Savithri, Accident and the recent Sundaranga Jaana, has also had the opportunity to direct none other the ace actor Kamal Haasan in Uttama Villain.

Ramesh,  who has acted in 12 Telugu films as a hero, helming the Queen remake will now mark his directorial debut in Tollywood too.

The official confirmation will be made hopefully by February end or in March, when they plan to go on floors.

The blockbuster Hindi film directed by Vishal Bahl will also be remade in Tamil and Malayalam. The project in both the languages will be helmed by Revathi and will have Tamannaah playing Rani (the lead) in Kollywood, Amala Paul will essay the role in Malayalam.
