BENGALURU: THE Bengaluru Urban district administration has given 15 days time to actor Darshan to vacate his residence at Rajarajeshwari Nagar that has come up on a stormwater drain.
Bengaluru South tahsildar Shivakumar said they have put up a board near the house listing out 30 properties that are on government land. The list includes 22 vacant sites and eight houses. “We have given 15 days time to these house owners to vacate their houses,’’ he said.

Forty-six property owners in Rajarajeshwari Nagar zone went to court and got a stay order on recovery of properties. Sources in the Urban DC’s office said there was no need to give time 15 days time to vacate the houses. “When it is proved that they have been constructed illegally on an SWD, what was the need to give them time? Officials are purposely giving time to allow influential people to get a stay order,’’ said an official.
