KOTTAYAM: The Kerala Congress state camp will be held from December 2 to 4 at Charalkunnu for which BJP national president Amit Shah will also be present, announced party chairman and NDA national council member P C Thomas.

The Kerala Congress chairman also announced that the party has decided to extend support to its state general secretary Jose Maveli in his efforts to curb stray dog menace. He also said the party secretariat has concluded that the reason for the sharp increase in the population of the stray dogs is the fault with the waste disposal system and that it would work towards resolving the issue.
The NDA national council member also slammed Union Minister Maneka Gandhi’s call to take stern action against the stray dog killers saying it was wrong on her part to take such a stance.
Citing a recent incident in which Kerala Congress Alappuzha district convener Krishnamma was robbed of her gold chain by an unidentified biker on an NH near Aroor, the former MP said the law and order situation in the state is worsening under the LDF Government.
