MALAPPURAM: The women’s conference, to be held at Valanchery Markaz, has triggered controversy by ousting Muslim Students Federation (MSF) leader Fathima Thahiliya from the panel list.Touted as the first of its kind, the conference will be held at Markaz as part of its Wafiyya college convocation. Wafiyya colleges are run for Muslim girls by Coordination of Islamic Colleges (CIC), under the aegis of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama. Programme organisers said the MSF leader was expelled from the panel for her controversial comments on triple Talaq.
