Ockhi death toll climbs to 36

The death toll from cyclone Ockhi rose to 36 on Thursday with two more bodies being recovered by Coast Guard ship Vaibhav about 100 nautical miles off Alappuzha.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The death toll from cyclone Ockhi rose to 36 on Thursday with two more bodies being recovered by Coast Guard ship Vaibhav about 100 nautical miles off Alappuzha. The two bodies are yet to be identified and have been kept at the mortuary of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The bodies were brought to Vizhinjam at around 8 pm on Thursday, a defence spokesperson said.
