Thrissur Model one-way traffic in Aluva from today

The Ernakulam Rural police will implement the Thrissur Model traffic system in Aluva town from Monday.

ALUVA: The Ernakulam Rural police will implement the Thrissur Model traffic system in Aluva town from Monday. The decision to implement the Thrissur Model one-way traffic in the town was taken after suggestions came up in this regard at the meeting of the Kerala Road Safety Authority and the Supreme Court committee on Road Safety Accidents Review Committee.

Under the new system, the KSRTC buses and other vehicles coming from Thottakkattukara side should enter the town through Bypass-Bank Junction-Pump Junction-Railway Square and KSRTC Bus stand, and the vehicles should exit the town through THQ Junction-Karathode Junction.
The vehicles proceeding towards the northern side should take the route via under the Market Bridge, and vehicles moving towards southern side should take the Pulinjodu road.

Those vehicles, including KSRTC buses, coming from the Ernakulam side should enter the private bus stand under the overbridge and take the Bank Junction- Pump Junction-Railway Square route to reach KSRTC stand. The private buses from the private bus stand should leave the town through Bank Junction-Pump Junction-Matha-Zenath-Railway Square and Karothukuzhi route.
