KOLLAM: The Kottarakkara police on Saturday took into custody two vehicles belonging to a Goa-based private security agency, whose services are believed to have been requisitioned by actor Dileep.  Kottarakkara SI C K Manoj said it was based on the instruction from the office of  DGP Intelligence the vehicles were taken into custody.

“We were given the vehicle numbers and instructed to take the vehicles into custody. It’s a matter related to the Ernakulam Rural police. But we were not clued in on the purpose,” said Manoj.
After verifying the documents the vehicles were released immediately, he said.
However, the private security agency ‘Thunder Force’, alleged  the police didn’t give any reason for seizing the vehicles.

Asked about this Kottarakkara CI O A Sunil said it will be ‘inappropriate to disclose further details about the reasons behind the police action’.“We usually receive such information. The vehicles were taken into custody on the basis of such information. “But since we were satisfied with the documents and didn’t spot anything suspicious,  the vehicles were released immediately,” the CI said.
