KOCHI: The M S Subbulakshmi Foundation and Sree Krishna Natya Sangeetha Academy announced their awards for this year.
Musician B Arundhathi has been selected for the M S Subbulakshmi Award while Kavalam Sreekumar has been selected for the Sangeetha Ratna award. Star Singer fame Malavika has been selected for the young talent award.
Actors Siddique and Seema have been selected for the Chalachithra Prathibha awards. Unni Balakrishnan of Mathrubhumi News has been selected for Madhyama Prathibha award while Kidney Foundation of India’s chairman Fr Devis Chiramel bagged the Manava Seva Puraskaram.
Soorya Krishnamoorthy will be honoured for wholesome contribution and director Bhadran will get the achievement award. The award carries cash prize of Rs 25,000, a citation and sculpture on which the picture of M S Subbulakshmi is engraved.
O Madhavan award instituted by Sree Krishna Natya Sangeetha Academy will be given to actor Kalasala Babu.
