Palmistry is a science that can be used in everyday life. A primer.
Fate line - It’s the line of free will. When it is long, it signifies success in whatever endeavour the mind is applied to. A deep one signifies a perseverance. It runs through the middle of the hand, from the base toward the middle finger.
Heart line: The line of relationships. A strong line expresses steadiness and commitment. It runs along the top of the palm. A low heart line implies a reserved cool temperament. A very low heart line signifies one who is excessively cautious.
Compatibility: A warm textured fleshy hand signifies indecisiveness. Those having a finely chained heart line that goes up between the index and middle fingers are deeply committed to their relationships and marriage. A weak heart line sometimes with a fork at the end indicates a loner.
Fingers vis-a-vis Hand: Each finger depicts a particular aspect of personality. Those with unusually small little fingers may be insecure and vulnerable. Short index fingers indicate people who constantly need approval, and are always aspiring for power. Those who wear rings on almost all of their fingers lack self- confidence.
The thumb: Will and intuition are the thumb’s qualities. Its size determines how energetic a person is. A large, long and thick thumb reveals a person who makes an impact wherever he or she goes. Those with thumbs bending away from the hand lack ambition.
Reading child’s palms: The child’s headline is an important line which shows its natural abilities. It also reveals the child’s attitude toward life. A downward turned headline indicates creativity. The deeper the slope, the more imaginative the child. One that curves up indicates less imagination, but great skill in accounting and math and science. If it runs directly across the palm, the child knows what it wants.
Health: The flexibility of the hand is an indicator of both physical and emotional health. Mentally and physically healthy people have highly flexible hands.
Women and challenges: Many modern palmists are observing the trend of women seeking more counsel regarding their careers than their relationships. The men, however, are the reverse.
Hiring: When interviewing a candidate for a job, watch how applicants hold their hands. The positions reveal if they have been direct and honest in their resumes. If the fingers are clutched firmly and the fists are clenched the person may be lying on the resume. Those who keep their fingers open make confident and honest employees. Success is this person’s motivation. One sitting with hands thrust forward and tensed with the fingers separated doesn’t like to be intimidated.
