TVS Electronics has launched a new keyboard which contains the new Indian rupee symbol. The Keyboard, called “TVS Gold Bharat,” will help the users to type the new rupee symbol more easily and accurately.
The keyboard can be operational at voltage of 5v + 10 percent at a supply current of 10 mA and it will support both USB and PS2 interface for connectivity.
HTC Desire launched in India
Smartphone designer HTC Corporation, and GSM provider Tata Docomo have announced a partnership to launch the ‘HTC Desire’ in India. The HTC Desire is an Android Smartphone that offers the enhanced HTC Sense experience to users.
HTC Desire delivers intense brilliance, sharp contrast and true colors on the expansive 3.7-inch Amoled display. The phone has a 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon and runs on Android 2.1.
The HTC Desire comes with an exclusive offer for Tata Docomo users in India, with which Tata Docomo postpaid subscribers will get free data download of 500 MB per month for six months. To avail this offer customers will have to SMS ‘Android’ to 54321 from their HTC Desire handset. The new HTC Desire will be available at a market operating price of `28,900* at all authorised HTC resellers.
What is HTC sense?
HTC Sense is a user experience focused on putting people at the centre. Loaded with a new HTC application and widget called Friend Stream that aggregates all of your social communication including Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr into one organised flow of updates, the sense experience is more into social media. In addition to Friend Stream, people can be organised into specific social circles.
The HTC Sense experience also introduces broad improvements to applications including the browser and email client. The new version includes a new newsreader application and widget, as well as a new seven-screen ‘Leap’ thumbnail view for easy access to specific screens.
