Mercedes-Benz is on top gear. After launching products in almost every segment, it is now gearing up to add the more performance-oriented AMG range of cars in India in 2014

Mercedes-Benz, which has been in India for a long time as a premier luxury car manufacturer, has been going all guns lately due to stiff competition from other German companies like BMW and Audi. The company has been launching new models and updating existing ones and next year the company will bring its famed AMG motorsport technology into India. The AMG division is Mercedes-Benz’s performance division, known for its fire breathing, V8 powered, tire-shredding supercars. Currently, Mercedes offers the following AMG models in India: The C63, the E63, the G63 SUV and the SLS AMG. According to sources, Mercedes-Benz India plans to add to their salvo of product launches next year by launching the complete AMG range. This means that India will be on par with most countries when it comes to a whole gamut of offered products.

Expect the flagship S63 AMG immediately after the S-Class launch sometime early next year.
