BLACK THUNDER
Doval played a key role in flushing out militants from Golden Temple in an operation codenamed “Operation Black Thunder” by providing sensitive intelligence input to security forces.
MIZO ACCORD
1986, Mizo accord signed. Doval played a major role in surrender of Laldenga, the leader of MNF. The accord was signed on June 30, 1986 by the then Home Secretary RD Pradhan and Chief Secretary Lalkhama.
GETTING PARRAY
Doval won over dreaded militant Kuka Parray in J& K and turned him into a prominent counter-insurgent in the 90s.Along with Army IB launched covert operations to neutralise militant activity in the valley, paving the way for 1996 Assembly elections in the state.
