R K Khanna Tennis Academy, New Delhi With a group of national
and international coaches working with the academy at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) campus, it has nurtured young talents like Sumit Nagal.
Krishnan Tennis Centre, Chennai
Established in 1995 by the famous father-son duo of Indian tennis—Ramanathan Krishnan and Ramesh Krishnan—the tennis academy in Kotibakkam has seen the rise of quite a few national- and international-level stars, including Davis Cup player Ranjeet Virali Murugesan.
Jaideep Mukerjea Tennis Academy, Kolkata
One of the top academies of Eastern India, it is run under the watchful eyes of former tennis star Mukerjea. Situated in Salt Lake, the academy has nurtured a lot of young talents who have been making their mark on the national stage.
CLTA Tennis Academy, Chandigarh
The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association’s academy is one of the oldest academies of the country. Over the years, it has produced quite a few national-level stars like Sanam Singh and Vijayant Malik. The academy also has a tie-up with Madrid Tennis Foundation, which helps the CLTA send the players for exposure tours.
Mahesh Bhupathi Tennis Academies
Even though Bhupathi’s company Globosport focuses on bringing out new players and conducting tournaments, the superstar has been running academies in 11 centres across the country. The company has tied up with schools in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur to produce talents. With a team of internationally acclaimed stars of the game, the academies have drawn a good response.
Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy, Bengaluru
Run by the former Davis Cupper, it is based in Chikkavaderapura. Roping in some of the big names in the local and international circuits, this academy has produced youngsters like Nikhil Niranjan, who has been making waves at the junior level.

The academy is run by veteran coach C V Nagraj and works with youngsters.
Sania Mirza Academy, Hyderabad
Tennis ace Sania’s academy offers state-of-the-art infrastructure. Recently, former tennis ace Martina Navratilova visited the institute.
